Robert Frank's "The Americans" is the most influential photo book in American history. His pictures are focus on the concepts and the ideas expression through his work. We knew the camera is a tool. In fact, the picture a tool as well. A good photographer just uses these tools to express their thoughts and concerns.

I like what Jack Kerouac wrote in the introduction for Robert Frank's "The Americans", "As a picture--the faces don’t editorialize or criticize or say anything but This is the way we are in real life and if you don't like it I don't know anything about it because I'm living my own life my way and may God bless us all, maybe" ... "if we deserve it"...

Feel sorry for him. He can say what he likes and express his views in any way. regardless. Others can say what they like. We have the right to freedom of speech and expression, and those publishers turned a blind eye and missed the first publication of this book.
