In the time of Henri Cartier-Bresson, there were no very wide-angle lenses. Most photographers use 35mm-50mm lenses. Most of them didn't use special lighting and darkroom tricks like today's Photoshop does. Now that we look back at their work, they are still very powerful and they still dominate photography today. I think great photos depend on how you tell the story in the photo and how the photographer incorporates emotion into their work. These stories and feelings still impact us today.
