I still find myself missing Michigan. I long for the tall, straight trees, the vibrant colors of the leaves in fall, and the soft white clouds that fill the sky. But what I miss most of all are the people—their calm demeanor and natural beauty. Michigan holds such a special place in my heart.

Every time I drive from Chicago to Michigan, John Denver’s "Aspen’s Walk of Fame" plays, and it feels like the soundtrack of the journey. The song always brings back cherished memories of my time in Michigan.
